HOW IT WORKS

  • Drone softwashing uses an unmanned aerial system (drone) to apply a biodegradable, low-pressure cleaning solution to your roof or building exterior from above. Unlike traditional pressure washing, the solution does the work — not the force — clearing algae, mold, lichen, and bacteria at the root and rinsing them away gently.

  • Pressure washing blasts surfaces with high-force water, which can crack tiles, lift shingles, and drive moisture into your home. Softwashing uses very low pressure — similar to a garden hose — combined with a specialized cleaning solution that removes the organisms causing stains at the source. The results last 3–5 times longer than pressure washing.

  • We clean asphalt shingles, tile roofs, metal roofs, flat commercial rooftops, building facades, warehouses, and large industrial structures. If you're unsure whether your surface qualifies, just give us a call — we're happy to take a look.

  • Most residential roofs are completed in 1–3 hours. Commercial and industrial properties vary depending on size, but our drone systems cover large areas significantly faster than traditional crews. We'll give you a time estimate before we begin.

SAFETY & DAMAGE CONCERNS

  • No. Softwashing is actually gentler on your roof than pressure washing or even foot traffic from workers walking across the surface. Our low-pressure application won't crack tiles, lift shingles, or void most manufacturer warranties. In fact, removing algae and moss helps extend your roof's lifespan.

  • Yes. Once the solution has dried (typically within 30–60 minutes after application), the treated area is completely safe for children and pets. We recommend keeping them indoors during the cleaning process as a precaution. We're happy to walk you through the solution's safety data sheet if you'd like to review it.

  • We take precautions to protect your landscaping. Before we begin, we pre-wet surrounding vegetation and cover sensitive plants if necessary. Our cleaning solutions are applied at concentrations that, once diluted by rinsing, are safe for established landscaping.

  • Not necessarily. Since our drone system doesn't require roof access or entry to your home, many customers simply leave a gate unlocked if needed and go about their day. We'll send you a notification when we arrive and when the job is complete, along with before-and-after photos.

PRICING & QUOTES

  • Pricing depends on the size and pitch of your roof, the level of buildup, and the property type. Residential jobs typically start at a few hundred dollars, while large commercial projects are quoted on a custom basis. Request a free quote and we'll give you a clear, no-obligation number — no surprises.

  • Yes, absolutely. We offer free, no-obligation quotes for all residential and commercial properties. Just fill out the contact form or call us at (352) 667-3735 and we'll get you a quote quickly — often the same day.

  • We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is due upon completion of the job. For larger commercial projects, we can discuss invoicing terms in advance.

SERVICE AREA & SCHEDULING

  • We proudly serve Central Florida, including Orlando, Ocala, Tampa, Clermont, The Villages, and all surrounding communities. Not sure if you're in our service area? Give us a call — we're always willing to travel for larger projects.

  • We typically book 1–2 weeks out, though availability varies by season. Spring and summer tend to fill up faster. Reach out as early as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

  • Safety and quality are our priorities. If weather conditions aren't suitable for drone operation — heavy rain, high winds, or lightning — we'll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule at no charge. Florida weather is unpredictable, and we factor that into our scheduling.
